I analyzed several existing travel apps and platforms to identify their strengths and weaknesses. This included popular apps like TripAdvisor, Make My Trip, Cleartrip, and some similar applications available like TripIt and TravelCase . The analysis focused on features related to, Trip Documentation, Social Sharing, and User Experience. By understanding what works well and where there are gaps, i was able to pinpoint opportunities for "Been" to stand out in the market.

A dedicated tab for planing, for noting and for sharing.

Been is an app designed to revolutionize how travelers document and save:share their journeys. Through the process of creative exploration, I thought of some innovative ideas and implemented them into the initial application wireframes. These early designs laid the foundation for a user-friendly platform that makes trip planning and travel storytelling seamless and engaging.

For the Been app, we opted for a vibrant and inviting color and font scheme that reflects the energy and excitement of travel. This choice was made after evaluating various other travel apps, ensuring that our design stands out while providing a visually cohesive and user-friendly experience.

The onboarding process for the Been app is thoughtfully designed to inspire users to travel and document their journeys with quotes. These quotes set the stage for an engaging and motivating introduction to the app, emphasizing the spirit of adventure and exploration.

By allowing users to sign in via Email, Phone number and Socials we emphasized both convenience and accessibility in our application. This streamlined approach simplifies the onboarding process, while also ensuring users can quickly and securely access their travel memories, enhancing their overall experience with the app.
Authorization
The home page of the application provides users with a personalized overview of their travel experiences, focusing on a "My Travel Dashboard" which gives overview of their travel, it is in form of a UI Card with carousel button which helps the user to engage with the application with No-Brainer questions. We also have option of "Best Countries to Visit" in home page to let the user easily plan and explore their favorite destinations. This dynamic hub keeps users connected to their adventures and encourages them to explore new possibilities.

I wanted to use different theme for one of the main features of the app "Add Place Info" but this made the page a bit dull and a bit out of place. Also it did not make the page visibly appealing.

I opted for a consistent theme that seamlessly integrates with the rest of the app, making the "Add Place Info" page vibrant and visually appealing. This choice ensured the feature felt cohesive and engaging, enhancing the overall user experience.

I felt that through previous versions users could feel a lack of clear direction and it felt kind of disjoint. So the final version made sure to make people engage and easily explore the key features of the app.

One of the most rewarding aspects of this project has been understanding how design choices directly impact the user experience. Moving forward, I'm eager to see how addressing new challenges in various sectors will continue to shape and refine my design approach.
